Idea for UTeamFix

Hi,

Is it possible to integrate the Unreal Tournament 'comment' sounds in UTeamFix? (Like HeadShot, KillingSpree, DoubleKill, MoMoMoMonsterKillKillKill etc.)

I think they are cool and good for deathmatch games.

I extracted the sounds, you can download them from my webspace.

dont ya think the voice sounds like worf from star trek next generation.

i nwvwe knwq there was 3 sounds for a flag capture. i heard the first, but i never knew there were another 2.

you said that as if hyper were asking You personaly to make the mod. quite rightly so, alot of people ask you to make mods for them.....

i dont think it is because of copyright, you just cantbe arsed...hehehe...

I've got a better idea. Fully legal: a possibility to play custom sounds instead of the UT ones. If a server admin still wants to use the UT sounds, it's his responsibility.

That is possible, but not on my priority list :-D

I do have a design for later UTeamFixes, but I'm not accepting feature wishes, it isn't even sure if I will be releasing anything else. The reason being, UTeam 9b is (IMO) already too much UT if some admins use some features. The AirControl for example and the forced respawn were only inserted into it by demand. I would never have included those by myself. Like the killsprees sounds oh well...

What I really wanted is the kill-notify so that you see if you whom you killed and got killed by, sometimes you don't notice it if you killed someone around the corner or something... I dunno why the sprees were added at all, I guess just out of boredom.

The sounds would just make another feature to make it more like UT, but my real intention was and still is to make Unreal as perfect as Unreal could be made... THe specialized Coop mods of which there are a number now already demonstrate this for Coop. The DeathMatch sector has nothing really that can compare to that - except UTeamFix. But it's supposed to be Unreal DM - not UT DM... can't stop repeating that.
