hey carnie, could you please put this newer version on the server?
it has new nodes, more vehicles and some other things +better performance..
the map is not 100% done but i would like to know how the link setup is online :)

So here we go again... :P

From the technical side:
First thing, you should try to avoid adding perfectly white lights. The lightning should not only make map visible, it should make it look better and less boring. It should enhance your theme! (more information about lights, colors etc.: http://book.hourences.com/booklighting.htm )

The brushwork could be better. Your brushes AREN'T aligned/snapped to grid, this can cause some serious BSP errors (HOM's, collision problems, instant death zone etc.). The "Toggle Drag Grid" option should be on (you can find it on the right to the command console, the "Drag grid size" should be higher than 2, and the bigger it is, than better).

I also noticed you intersected some of the brushes. Intersecting is NOT recommended, it can crash the editor or even corrupt the map file, so you can't open it again (but you can still use auto saves), it can also create BSP errors. In some places you used sheet instead of using a brush (some of the walls). Why? :O
In order to optimize the map you can also use Anti Portals, there are some good spots for them (the big walls between rooms).

Now from the gameplay side:
Still to choke for me (;)), there is no way in to the PN1 (that node with minigun turrets). Keep in mind that the minigun turrets & link gun/ plasma turrets can be used not only by the team who controls the closest node, this can lead to spawncamping. The sofa thing has only the default texture.

yes they CAN ^^
i always check after placing brushes if there happend some BSP error so i can change it.

yes i know that there is no way in for infantry thats all on purpose ^^
im also aware of those turrets which can be used by both teams :)
and about the sofa texture, i forgot to add the SM texture into the myLevel ^^

you guys noticed that right there on the picture where the magazines are i added funny pills and when you move over them ur view gets dizzy.. that works offline but not online.. dose anyone knows why they work offline but not online?

Funny pills? Is that a custom mod you got from somewhere like a little u-file and you added it into the map? If yes, check the variable "Remote_ROLE" and make sure it is at least on value 2 (equals "Role_SimulatedProxy") otherwise replicated functions cannot be called on the client... and this ----might---- be what is happening here. Usually when something works offline but not online it's some network crap :-/ If that doesn't help I might have a look at the code some time...

Nice map, but it needs more Mantas or Raptors, really. Many times I needed to use some slow vehciles, so more fast would be better. I also suggest reducing number of Levis to 1. You can put it somewhere on the middle of map. I also found a bug: Sofa has ugly default texture. Good work anyway.

thx marcin but i noticed that the sofa has no texture and wrote it in an earlier post if you read :)

@wolf: its just a simply triggered edited viewshaker but i also noticed that triggered actors dont seem to work online, like i triggered once the tank_victim which makes some movement after shooting him, it worked offline but not online...

I don't really know much about mapmaking, but maybe, there's just a .u file from the System dir missing on the server!? One that may contain the code for that?

I think they disabled it for online use, because it was to buggy maybee, i remember some other things that u cant see online.

I am also not sure, I do not use funny pills....;-), but I know somethings r not turned on for internet use, like emmiters and such. You could probably look through the properties and find something like bonlinefriendly, (no such animal, but you get what I mean), and turn it to true?
