I seem to remember Wolf posting that there is a technical advantage to using wasd rather than direction keys, something about sample rates being less frequent for the direction keys. Then again I may have dreamt it, apologies Wolf if so :oops: :lol:

Hehe yea old post. Meanwhile I use esdf not wasd. But the point here simply was (and still is) that when you press a normal key, usually one byte of information is sent whereas special keys require 2. I don't know if this is still the case with modern keyboards or if the one byte / 2 byte analogy is even accurate, but I tested it with an old keyboard a while ago pressing as many buttons simultaniously as possible and noticed that when you use arrows and such, the total number of keys being responded to is smaller.
