I wasn't replying on it because the issue has been addressed several times now.

It ain't possible with UScript. Whether it is with native coding I don't know.

....hmmm I played a map on which, when you touch a wall (or something, I don't remember), your Unreal goes to minimize and default web browser loads some page :?

That was on Yellow Submarine, some of Sally's maps contain URL redirectors. These are normal "teleporters" just like normal portals in maps, however, instead of directing you to an inside Unreal map teleporter destination, the URL given is an HTTP address, that's why your Unreal minimizes and opens a browser.

This has nothing todo with redirect, it's a teleporter. Also, I don't see how this can be any helpful, because you already HAD THAT MAP containing the teleporter, so you already downloaded it - what's the point in opening a download window then? You would have wanted that to have happened BEFORE entering the server, not afterwards then it's too late anyway :roll:

Hey Wolf,we are trying to run a ctf server on gTf.We upgraded uteam to 9f yesterday and uploaded all ctf files but I'm not sure how to start the game from within server with command line......can you help?Thanks 8)

figured out how to start the game modes but still not sure of all commands...looked for the ctf.ini but dont see 1.....seems to run well.Do I need to patch it?I used the noumod for install.

If i'm not mistaking there should be some CTF commands in the serverdog mod u might try that :D

Finally figured it all out and realctf is running great...had a czec player on there...ping 148 and he said it felt nice...stop on by...2 teams of 6 :D

So maybe new version of CELL map, and (if possible) some script running when you are in CELL. When you don't have next map (some checks :/ ) you will be redirected :P

If you run RealCTF you don't need UTF, indeed they currently do not go together. I wrote a patch especially for RealCTF a long time back though, called RealCTF-C. It is far less good than UTF for normal Unreal but makes RealCTF a lot better already.

Yep Wolf,I patched with your patch and all runs well except....is there a way to see the flag carrier instead of just glow?

There is a display somewhere on the HUD indicating who has the flag. If you mean by "other" way that you want to see the actual flag being carried then the answer is "no". I'm not even sure how that was done it UT, possibly with some "carried decoration" or something... dunno really.

Squirrelsoftware just chose to change texture and glow on the flag carrier and no more.

No biggie,it's mad fun anyways and a nice change from dm.I like to play team dm but we have some that don't care for it.Ctf is 1 I think most of us can enjoy,plus cool maps:)

i made a map for it...no1 really played it, cause the first version was buggy, and no1 really cared bout the second.

anyways...

damnit i seem to have lost it...ill see if angloid still has it next i see him...
