Anyone seen this graphic problem before and if so do you know how to fix it.

I used to use windows xp but now I use windows 7.
On xp the game ran fine but on windows 7 I get all these little dots.

All drivers are up to date......

Looks like I've been flying around on the quad thing and hit loads of flies your right m8.

G-Card is ATI-Radeon-HD2900XT.

Just on Battlefield bad company 2 Cloud.

It seems other people are getting this problem with newer cards as well.

I had once graphic troubles and couldn`t uninstall the whole ati stuff.

After a bit googleing i made it like some others this way :
1.) Uninstall, so far as possible
2.) Delete the whole file where the graphic card was installed.
3.) Delete the registry entries. HKEY_LOKAL_MACHINE in SOFTWARE all the Ati stuff (should be 3 folders there).
4.) Restart the Pc, and new installing of the card. Ready

Worked for me fine, and i had not to do the whole Pc setup crap.

It could be possible that ATI offer a special uninstall tool for their drivers on the homepage. Maybe it's worth a try.

could be several things... couldnt try and test because got not that card and the game.

like marv said... maybe sum driverbug old overwrite new.
otherwise i found the bug like "glitch fix"... answer "turn bloom off"... but the hell i dont know wot that means.... hrhr.


and there are so many graph.probs. sum say use in graph profile directx 9 instead of 10 in win7, other thing.... change resolution! or dl latest patches and go on and on...
hope ya get it right with that driver thing.

oi.... did forget... Omega drivers are still alive.
maybe an alternative.

i used loads of these drivers.... most of the time higher fps and no bug-screens... just google it.

Its not overclocked.

Yeh JJ, I have done all the direct X 10 to 9 stuff in the settings ini.
I have done the turn vsync on change res stuff. Still the same..

Alls I am going to do is either wait for better drivers or just reinstall xp.

Check this out when I went from drivers 10.5 (latest) to 10.2.

If all that changed is the operating system, then it is likely a software problem, but in IT, you can never rule out coincidences like some hardware going at that exact switch.
Anyway, tried disabling various features in the game settings?


SETI, because some of the pixel formations looked like constellations and symbols.

Try lowering your Shadows, or the lighting. Mabe the alpha settings. I am sorry that I can not get into details, but I really think that it is your settings, and not a driver problem. Your card is over maxed.
