For Frank on Thanksgiving

Not sure if you do Thanksgiving over there......Happy Thanksgiving.....
You are welcome to some of our food from our table ....you may have Turkey(of course) Ham(seasoned with cloves) Fried Chicken (fried then wrapped in foil and baked) Green beans, Mac and Cheese, Dressing(real not stuffing), Yams, Cranberry Sauce(terrible speller and can hardly see the screen this morning) Potatoe Salad, Deviled Eggs...and of course desert....many to choose from but the family favorite is Apple Sauce Cake(has Coco in it....not our beloved brother in TCP) so it is a dark spicey cake with a glazed icing.....it is yum but I have to remove the coconut from the icing (I have never liked coconut....long story)

Thanks Van. Germans do not celebrate it normally. It is the dried taste of the white meat on the turkey. But I have made a few ButterBalls a few times, and the in-laws seemed to have liked it. YAMS!!! OH YEAH!!!! I just loved those with a bit of "Squirt" butter on em, next to the fresh oven buns. Even my daughter remembers the macerroni and cheese. And you are like me. I never liked the coconut.
