Cant play on GGMJ servers

Clear the cache do not help, searching this file - not found............?????????????

Can anybody help me?

Hi Marwin!

Partydevil is right, the server complains about your installed version of TAM. To be more concrete, the file in question is System\3SPNv3141.u. You should replace it with the same file in the download of the TAM V1.3141 archive.

I did not found a crappy 3SPNv3141 file...................as i wrote.

2x searching my games folder and 1x my whole pc

Anyway then without any GGMJ servers, its bad cause sometimes r the {Dr.}`s there.

Hi Marwin!

There are just two possible locations:

1. In the System subdirectory of your UT2004 installation directory (the name should be 3SPNv3141.u as written above).

2. In your Cache directory. The name can be anything then, because all filenames in the cache are being converted into a long alphanumerical string. But you can simply open the Cache.ini file in there (with a text editor like Notepad) and do a text search for that name. This will give you the real name of that file in the Cache directory.

Maybe, it would be a good idea not to search for the file with the search function of your computer, but to manually have a look into your UT2004 System directory instead.

Another thing: If you can't find such a file this would mean that you don't have the TAM gamemode installed. But can you still do a search for TAM servers inside the game? What I mean is: Can you select "Team Arena Master" as the gamemode to search for (besides Death Match, Onslaught, etc.)? In case you can, this means that you have the TAM gamemode installed. And this means that the file in question must be somewhere in your UT2004 directory!

or just download TAM v3141 as a rar
and put the file in question in your system map

if it bugs whit the working tam you got, then just delete it agian
or compleetly reinstal tam

i had the same problem with it i could not join ggmj server for months well i did reinstall ut from begin and yesterday i could join!

i whold say first try to reinstal only tam befor whole ut
you lose alot of files if you reinstal ut

only you need is user.ini and ut204.ini files to back up rest just delete ut2004 and install again with the megapack patch...

its all the same did for me aswell

well if i do so my ut will lose all his mods, maps, and mutators
witch i got alot and some of them i will prolly never get back if i delete it

things like maps that are very cool but only saw once or twice online

normaly ut2k4 is about 6gig my ut is 18gig so i will lose rly alot if i reinstal ut whitout saving all my files

and if you reinstal tam (they thing that gives problems) the comp overwrites the old file's anyway so it's just like new

I found this file now and it was really in my cache!

Maybe i made a misstake.....cause i cleaned my cache, and go then to other fafourite severs, b4 i tried to go to GGMJ, so this crappy file i downloaded again from one fafourite server...........

Same trouble was on Ches CB server now, so i have to find it.

Now i know from where i get the second 3spn file, this crappy file overlays the normal 3spn file and i get it from the titan freon server:

They have a "fixed" version that takes care is linked to some security tool of theirs as far as I know. In total, their server is much more secure than any other in the world, but the method this file has been created with is not.... how shall I put it.... "standard procedure".
