its quite possible.

the main things that have been invented for the task:

computer harness, which suspends your pc above your bed, moniter down.

self moving hoover, which moves around the carpet, using its advanced collision detection, locates the borders to the room, then goes across the bit in the border. magnetic strips can be put under the carpet to stop it falling down the stairs.

excersize machine, which sends strong pulses through your body, making u clench your body, and therefore losing calories.

robot crane, which goes to the front door, pulls the handle, opens the door, grabs whatever you ordered on the pc (probably pizza) and moves it to the bottom of stairs.

remote control bimp, grabs the food, and carries it up the stairs, and into your bedroom.

theres probably others.....one good 1 wud be to install a bath right at the edge of ur bed, so that u can just kinda roll into it.

Seeing that that screen usually costs 160 - 190 € here :P
But I dont really want a 19 inch one..too expensive and I dont need higher resolutions than 1024x768..So some cheap crappy 17 inch does it :/

Of course you have to.

@Xaver:
Finally, we only need our brains with some kind of direct interface to pc (none monitor, none keyboard, none bed...), one glass jar to place it in and regular glucose supply. :lol:

Next generation humans will have a wireless quadpumped PCI-Express x128 connection for direct commnucation with the devices of the digital millennium.

Should be nice, the PC can easily identify users and give them a personalized computing experience. You don't have to learn anything, jou just have to download the latest info and store it on the flash drive which expands the brain with hard to remember data.

Of course, this needs a very strong security and privacy system. You probably don't want this to be made in the USA, because then it will ship with built-in backdoors for the FBI and the army intelligence. :roll:
You don't want a backdoor directly into your brain or a virus that replaces your knowledge with images of spongebob squarepants.
Alter your reality...Forever.

There was/is great tv-series. Full of unbelievable stories, excellent and unexpected ideas about the present and the future. About what could be happened in consequence of our behaviour, consequence of our thoughts, ideas, projects and decisions. What will be happened if we do things we don't understand.
"OUTER LIMITS"

If you don't know, you should see it!

@HYPER:
There was one episode about what you have described. 8)

BTW:
next amazing calculations:
100 % = 28 % + 28 % + 14 % + 28 %
100 % = 98 % :? so system crashes :lol:
