all right i have a problem with the release of Uteam9F, i use 224 and i never got uteam mismatches but now i do wit that version, and the commands obj garbage and reconnect and disconnect dont work, so i cant get rid of that or whatever is there another way besides closing unreal and restarting it, to get rid of the uteam mismatches?

bearing in mind you have to disconnect Then obj garbage, then reconnect...not, like you said, obj garbage, disconnect, then reconnect.

i dunno if that what you meant

Opera...sucks.. :l
How can you use Mozilla/Firefox and then switch to Opera.. ?

For the teamfix problem..The thing I always do is..Open Cache Folder, sort by date, browse first 3 or 4 files, find uteamfix in it, delete, play :P

That does not help. IT IS NOT a problem with CACHE. What you need to do is: 1 make sure you DO NOT have UTeamFix.u in your Unreal System folder.
2. Disconnect from the current server. (Disconnect or Open Entry)
3. Remove the conflicting UTeamFix from memory by typing "Obj Garbage"

It's alwasys so sad to see how many players treat cache like a virus. Everyone should be nice to cache files, make them read-only (against evil Unreal cache deletion) and backup their cache folders to CD-RW from time to time

Well..It IS a problem in the cache, since when you delete the uteamfix file from the cache, everything works again :/

I never said delete the whole cache, thats why you should browse and look for the file containing the words "uteamfix"..Then you'll never have to remember stuff like obj garbage :/

remembering isnt the problem. its teaching the new folk.

really, the best way to go around having a good friendly relationship with your cache is to go through it every week anmd turn some of it into normal unreal files.

but thats too much effort for anyone, takes far too long.

You are completely WRONG!
Why? Go through your cache, find uteamfix files and make them normal unreal files placed in system folder
It is only (and no ever) true for maps, but for textures it's not quite so.

Then you will get version conflicts again.

Again, it's NOT a cache problem. Cache NEVER makes conflicts. The reason it worked for you is that you exited Unreal, whereby you removed the conflicting UTeamFix from your RAM. After you restarted with a clean RAM, you could of course connect witout problems.
