BTW: TAZ, do you have `Use3dHardware' turned on in Advanced->Audio settings? When I turn it on I hear strange echos and delays. It should make use of EAX but it doesn't. On my old SBLive! was all OK but on this on-chip nVidia sound it looks like not

well that was before alice..

and btw i installed all games again :\
and everything runs fine 10 times faster and all :O and maybe i can get into those ut2004 server 10 times faster before it was slow that i got timed out

Xavious ... I'd say U1 was charming ... I remember the WOW when I first played through in Co-op ... particularly the huge outside levels ... the colours, creatures, atmosphere, the feeling of being there .... it beat the socks of any other game at the time graphics wise including orange Half Life and brown Quake. So yeah U1 has a charm of its own

I have downloaded demo of UT2004. Playing DM I ascertained that everything is glowing, shining, blinking, flashing. Even flack fires kind of light-something instead of metal shards

hmmmm, I think I dislike this. Unreal 1 RULEZZZZZZZ!!!
BUT onslaught is GREAT! We all should make a good, strange team and play this mod! Playing onslaught I don't feel like a standard next player (like in team match), but like next and important soldier! with more, more duties than poor player in CTF!
We should to discuss the possibility to play UT2004 onslaught. Of course as }TCP{.
Until that time you can find me playing onslaught as aLICe (without tag), and join pls!

ooops, and only demo servers I think, cause I have only demo now. If we'll decide to play this mod I buy, or maybe someone could buy for me
