The scenery is a castle, an old castle. Actually, its so old you cant even call it a castle anymore, it's basically just ruins.
In these ruins a ghost has lived ("lived" being used to not terrify the children, who could be quite scared to see the word DEATH being mentioned) and was still enjoying his "life" to the fullest. One day an old man came to the ruins to take a look at them (and to search for anything of value (those were ruins after all) and the ghost knew it was its duty to scare the old geezer away.
It got its chains and other ghostly tools and was getting ready for the act when the old man suddenly dropped dead.
"What the.." the ghost thought and prodded the dead body with its..well..it just prodded it. Out of nowhere the old man popped up again and grabbed the ghost by its..sheet..
"Listen here, you cant scare me with some chains and a sheet, you need something better for this old man", the man said and started pulling
on the ghost.
"Let go ! Werent you just dead a minute ago ??", the ghost snapped.
"The narrator just made a mistake, you know those story writers these days..In fact, you're not even a ghost. You're my son Andy", the man said.
"I already wondered why I could hardly carry these chains. I felt mighty silly, too".
"Lets go home, your mom is already worried", the old man shouted and went towards the setting sun.
"Wait a minute ! But what happens to the story then ? Wasn't this about a ghost ? We just leave like that and it's over ?" the boy asked, but the old man was already out of sight. The boy pulled off the sheet,
threw the chains away and turned on his 3DS to play some Pokemon on his way back home. I'm sure there
are many questions now, but lets just forget about them.. It's a story after all..
There, a lot of effort went into this intricately detailed and fleshed out novel experience

Yet another year passes by and I congratulate you Cee for not having changed one bit in the last decade. Have a merry birthday! I have to keep the tradition alive of reviving this thread for its long, shared history of birthdays (and keeping this forum alive nonetheless) and the decay of the aging process... Anyhow, have a good one
It's a bit dusty in here! Birthday greetings seems to be the only thing bringing me to log on here
And yet again it is another year and another birthday for the one and only Cee!
Happy Birthday old pal and may you have many more.
For anyone who sees this, I hope you and yours are well! Take care and see you next year
