Now some good news, one machine is in the process of being replaced, the MONSTERMASH / multipurpose Unreal One server is being redone by Carnage, he promised me to update it to the latest 227 as well.
The new server already runs and I have test-played on it yesterday, aside from some missing client sounds that are likely some network hiccups (potentially on my end even) it seemed to run just perfect even WITH a notable amount of concurrent upload taking up bandwidth on it, so there is little reason to believe network or cpu will be a problem.
