UTeamFix 9D
After some delay, I can hopefully finally put it out.
-- UTeamFix 9D-t3 --
It still carries the "testbuild" tag, however, I think it is now reached a level where it can stay for a while before any serious development goes on. I have achieved my main goal, stomping out even more bugs and making UTeamFix ready for the future... provided there is any... because the future of Unreal is unknown, and not many people are as dedicated to it as I am. So, the project can be terminated at any moment, real life might just hit me again too.
Anyway, if you think "what else could come after after 9b", your first look should be at the "history" page inside the manual, which lists all changed features, additions and fixes.
Summarizingly, you get ONE TINY limitation with 9D which you didn't have with 9b, you cannot run one-map-servers with it, you must at least have 2 maps running on the server.
On the bright side, you get a ton of new features, here is a small excerpt:
- support for KOTH
- support for DarkMatch
- Powerful mutators, which can make existing games more fun
- Domination (UT 1 - style)
- Individual Admin logins
- enhanced logging
- more administrative commands (mute players...)
...
Believe me, the list of changes and additions is very long, although a great deal was just basic rework that would modularize the entire mod to make it ready for future "plugin"-style additions.
Things for the future, what is left undone in this build and would be next to follow:
- bot support improvements
- integration of MonsterMash (currently, MonsterMash is INCOMPATIBLE with this build)
- spawn point selection improvements (especially for DOM)
- individual player logins
- personal stats recovery
- (much later) permanent stats recovery for ROLE PLAYING GAME style mods
- reference DOMINATION configuration (admins: send me your UnrealDomination.ini)
As always, and it will remain that way, UTeamFix is free of charge. I must say for a few things I was greatly motivated by a paypal donation though. Should you ever decide to donate, you will be entered into the credit section of any future builds.
DOWNLOAD PUBLIC DISTRIBUTION:

If you only want to read the manual, or look at it while downloading or whatever, it's online right here:

Hehe not very soon I'm afraid... oh btw, did you know Linux Unreal / UT servers are not the most reliable compared to windoze? It's because the tickrate cannot be timed so accurately under Linux, but don't ask me about details...}TCP{aLICe wrote:you're going to make something for Linux maniacs

I can imagine details, but if I remember correctly you can't run U1 server cause of Linux Wine blablabla something network incompatibility. UT is working, but I have played demo only (off line).}TCP{Wolf wrote: oh btw, did you know Linux Unreal / UT servers are not the most reliable compared to windoze?
