Mozilla problem - Associating server links to ut2004

Post by PingKing »

When I click on server links on mozilla it unfortunately comes up with a message saying "Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (ut2004) isn't associated with any program."

Is their a way to associate ut2004 with the links? Oh and I have ut2004 on steam if that changes anything? I know where the ut2004.exe is though in my directory :)

I'm sorry to say, but that's nonsense. It won't work in IE either, because this feature is browser-independant.

If you post your exact path to the UT2004.exe, I'll make a small patch for you that will install this feature.

By the way: Never use IE for browsing the web. Firefox is much safer to use - especially with the "NoScript" and "Cookie Monster" addons!
