Tiny target reached!

Saw Tron on IMAX in Vienna. That was so.......
can not rly find words.
It was a experience for me and it was so beautiful, and I was often close to tears. Sorry for that, but i am just a human.

Next target i want to reach is the CML meeting in Germany on 2. April.

Lots of Love

Marwin

Ah, glad you got to see it.

BTW that vid reminds me of the game Joust, I used to play it with m8s in the arcades at BLackpool or wherever we happened to visit :D

Marwin, it made me happy to read this! I hope there are lots more movies coming that you'll have the chance to watch. You've seen this one earlier than me and I guess my current lack of spare time won't allow me to watch Tron before it's out of the theatres. :-P But that's ok, maybe I'll get the Blu-ray sometime later. :-)

Over one year serching what this trisomy 8 means for me i found it.........

Look this folder:
http://www.rarechromo.org/information/C ... 20FTNW.pdf

Bad feelings i have.......am I a freak?

Is there some one out in the world, except me, with trisomy 8 and leukemia?....... I think not....... is that contretemps? or destiny?

WTF

Did the docs know this all the time? Why said nobody something to me? I am in a study, but what should i think now of it... i am simply a proband for their to get results??? Should i change the hospital? From now its gonna not funny for me.
I asked my docs 3 times about this trisomie respectfully not angry (one time i asked the name of the syndrome its called "warkany syndrome", but no answers all the time!

And now its true or false???
The karyotype of my analysis speak a clear speech.

Damn.....

Maybe i will get there some answers, Germany is not that far away, it seems that in austria nobody cares about such things, or simply i cant find such organizations till now.

That's pretty heavy stuff, Marwin. It's a shame that the doctors don't give you precise answers when you ask them. This means they either don't know too much about it or simply aren't honest to you. I would have a bad feeling as well in this case, because you can't know what else they're not telling you.

About trisomy 8 and leukemia, I always thought the latter would be a possible effect of the first. But leukemia or cancer aren't mentioned at all in the paper you posted above, so it seems to be extremely unfortunate that these two come together in your case. :-(

Whether you're a freak or not - I think that's up to you to decide. All I can say is that my impression always was that you're a good and normal guy when we played UT2004 together and jerked around on TS. I just love your Austrian accent and expressions. :-D Also, the skill you demonstrated in the game doesn't really match what's written in the paper. Even with bad ping and connection problems, you drove most of us insane with your aim and shock locks. :-P

Thank you Coco, that helps a lot. I had often bad days 2 at TS and when i was playing UT, and if i hurt someone of you all here, i can only say "Sorry" of that.

I have never heard of trisomy 8 tbh but I did see about 4 psychologists several years ago who told me that there was no such thing as a "normal" person, everyone is slightly different within a range of possibilities. The same also applies with syndromes which can effect people in different ways and within a range from slight to severe.

In the past, doctors were maybe too quick to label people with this or that tag when they weren't always sure; these days they seem to be a bit more cautious in my experience ... maybe they aren't or weren't sure ? If they are sure though I would expect an honest answer to a straight question, and I should think that they could test for this condition ?

The word freak is a bit heavy, and not really helpful seeing as everyone is unique and therefore a freak in their own way

As for you yourself, I can only echo what Coco said ... You are a good, decent chap with very good skills who is always fun to frag with :)

You have already shown that you can face these problems bravely, you have great resilience and you do what you can to have some fun in the midst of it all, which is a good philosophy for all to follow :)
