Think that Asus motherboard has dual channel memory. So, you should use either 2 sticks or 4 sticks of ram.

The 6gig kit listed is 3 sticks of 2gb ram if I'm reading it correctly.

Because of the L3 cache a Phenom CPU will give you a performance boost of 0-20% (compared to an Athlon II and depending on the game). Most of the games don’t take advantage of the 4th core. 3 cores are fine + you got a chance of like 60+% to unlock the 4th core.
Phenom II X3 740, 90 Euro

Of course the Videokaart is the most important thing in a gamer pc. You should really go for a 6850 (150 Euro) or GTX460. You will thank me later ;)

You don’t need a 700 Watt PSU unless you plan on running multiple Videokaarts. Something like a Cooler Master Silent Pro 500W or Antec TruePower New TP-550 is all you need.

4 GB of RAM is more than enough for any current game. 1333 CL7 RAM is faster than 1600 CL9 RAM. I’m not sure if your Mainboard even supports triple channel ram (3x 2GB)?

Save some money on the PSU + RAM and you can afford the Videokkart.

How? And can you turn it back on and off again at will depending on you doing games or office stuff!?
