Thanks peeps
although they look better in real life without camera zoom and flash to highlight the errors
I painted them between 25 and 30 years ago ... before the instant gratification of multiplayer LAN PC gaming kicked in
We used to mostly play Ancient Wargames (not Warhammer, although that came out around then) using the 6th Edition Wargames Research Group rules. We used to do lots of research to get the armies as accurate as possible (I was in the Society of Ancients
).
I still haven't seen a really good multiplayer pc game for Ancient Wargames. The Rome Total War etc series was excellent in concept, graphics and execution, but lacks multiplayer campaigning and the set piece multiplayer battles don't really appeal like traditional wargaming did back in the day. It would be really cool if you could multiplayer campaign in that Total War universe though (with the Total Realism mod that kicks out the dumbed down kiddy stuff superman units etc of course
).

Sorry for the late reply. Party just told me ya posted it here. ^^
Looks great though, better than the stuff i painted.
and yeah, it is strangly Satisfying to paint those little things, though these are even smaller than the ones i paint.

Hello. Would you like to come help me in a side-plot that has seemingly no relation to your main quest at all?

I'm not much a fan of painting, I prefer making models... I have quite a lot.
Below are all the fricking huge pictures of my models... sorry about that. =P
As you can see most of them aren't painted, or are painted but not complete.
My masterpiece is the truck, its a Peterbilt Canadian Hauler with a car transport attached.
That model of Revell has been made from 1986 till 1997, I got it from my uncle and worked on it for quite some time, had a lot of fun doing so.
To bad it's that old, because I can't even pick it up anymore without breaking it... there are already some pieces fallen off.
Haven't made a model in years though, tried to start on something small a while ago but didn't enjoy it anymore. To bad huh. =)
