Modem died *wiggle*

my modem died somewhere thursday night. didnt know for sure until saterday when i talked to the help desk *wiggle* It had something to do with the bitrate going nuts and going over its buffer rating or something :S but i dont know much about that. i do know its an old modem from 2002 so i guess its due time for a replacement *Wiggle*

they told me they will send a new modem but it will take 5 to 10 working days -_- Personally i wonder why it must take so long but i bet they have their reasons *wiggle* untill the modem arives i cant be online and can only check the forum at school

so i guess i will see ya all in a couple of days/weeks *wiggle*

we got a modem left
i don't have a car this week so if you want it you can come and pick it up @ me =)

thanks, but i dont know if that will help. last time we bought a modem (wich was pretty annoying since ya can only buy em at specific places these days) it was a real pain getting it set up to connect to the provider *Wiggle* a nephew did it so i dont know the specifics, nor do i know if any modem will work. we could always give it a try thoug, but i dont know much more about setting it up than where what plug needs to go *Wiggle*

if u have Adsl +2 try the Cisco modem is not much money and one of the best for adsl

Linksys is also good, with all stuff included like portforwarding, triggering, Datasave/Restore and Qos.

Linksys is a very good choice.

It could be that you had an electric storm up there, and allot of peeps lost there system.

Linksys is Cisco

Just buy this one and you never gonna have problems one of the best modems I always have/had Linksys (Cisco now) even if someone uses your wirless Modem gonna give you enough speed for gaming ect.
And if u take this Modem with Linksys EasyLink Advisor you get that at CD is very easy to install & control your Router.

but anyway if you never want lags with your connection go for Cisco
