Epic teases mysterious Unreal reveal

Hey guys, found something interesting while surfing the net.

Epic Games has teased the imminent announcement of something new, something "Unreal".

The developer's website showed an Unreal-style logo box underneath the slogan, "It's Unreal. And it's almost here."

That appears to have been removed, as have forum threads ( http://forums.3drealms.com/vb/showthread.php?p=900858 ) discussing the picture on the Epic Games website.

There's no word on what the teaser is for. Could it be a new Unreal Engine? A new Unreal game? Speculate away.


I myself hope for Unreal 3, with great Co-op, and a easy to use editor, to make some great co-op maps. And the option to play as Skaarj (evil side) .

That's interesting... plans for U3? I hope they won't fail like with Unreal 2...

Sluggish movement and crappy multiplayer aside, Unreal II actually was decent storywise, although seeing how it ended I'm really having no clue what a third story could be like... but then again storywise, U2 seemed to be unrelated to U1/Napali as well... assuming that another Unreal is coming, let's just wait and see

Ye i liked Unreal 2`s story too. Would be cool if their will be a third.
I liked the enviroment & weapons, characters, voice acting. Was a pretty decent game. In my opinion anyway.

Did Unreal 2 have Multiplayer?? Never knew, was it DM and Co-op?

DM I think ... it was a free download and it had vehicles if I remember right.
