Looks like there was something wrong with the webserver and as a result they changed it to a new one ..

All well one should think ... but of course not

Now for some reason the diskspace we use has grown to 2384 mb while it normaly was always hanging around the 1300 mb ish line ( it also counts the mysql as data) so i clean that when that hist about 300 mb ish.

but anyways as a result the site was down today because their nifty webconsole thingy sees 2000+ mb and suspends the domain .... great

While i am almost 100% sure we are not over the limit by a long shot i have taken some measures too see if that affects it in anyway.

i have reset the stats ( 170 mb win there)
i have taken the forum attatchements ofline for now .. don't worry i backed it all up ( 380 mb win)

taken 2 subdomains off ( +- 100 mb win)

So in total that should be around 650 mb less .. the conrtol site shows no difference yet .

I will mail the host if there is no change tonight and tell em to fix their shit

So if the domain is down again tomorrow don't panic it is most likely this issiue.

Hi!

I've been wondering already, because not just the site was unreachable, but not even the domain name could be resolved. I was already afraid, the name could probably have been released and some bot grabbed it immediately.

Anyway, thanks for caring about it, Carnage, and for letting us know. If there's anything we can do (which I doubt), just tell us.

Little update

The moving around some stuff did something ..
Now we do not use 2300 mb .. but only 1700 .. which is just utter crap
just to be sure i did a little download of everything on the site / databases and i came to a whopping 123 Mb
which is like 1500 mb short of what that retarded plesk tool tells me

Will give the host a few days to fix coz they are still working on the webhosting
if not fixed then it is mail time again ...

Seems they have fixed the problems and i am now bringing everything back online
