Oi me and james was owning you and that other guy you both have like 12 pings and we are up near the 100's god dam (NL) hackers and then some FR joins and has to be a dick about it.

when i join a server i dunno what the score's are
in my eye's if you wont wanna be botherd whit other players
find a 2on2 server or pw a server

sure it's not nice from him to not go spec
but on the other hand, there are no rule saying you gotta spec
i can inmagion that he wasn't even looking @ it

I just look at ping, available slots, and conditionally join, then the server can sort me out.
Preferred team: None

I also do not look at the score when I come in, and if it is even teams, and someone asks me to leave until it is over, I go spec. This has happened a few times, and I do not mind. But you should not get too upset, KillerDan, that someone wants to play, and maybe next time, it will go in your favor. Frank

If a team game is well balanced, especially when almost over, I usually don't join until map change.

Hey,

This is the reason I get so angry in tam/freon.
Before I join the server i allways check the scores of the players and teams.
If it is 9-9 and I see 1 less person in a team, I think well the teams must be evenish so I spec till next map.
It has happend to me alot of times, being top person in a team, and the rest of the team doing shit, when the teams are even I dont mind but then some 1 allways joins and knobs it up.
On Ons, if I see alot of people playing, I join.
But if I see that 1 team is more effective to win and I am in that team, then I will spec.
But like we all know, its public.
Anyway cya all in 2 weeks peace.

I usually join a game in spec and see whats happening before jumping in

.

I don't always pay attention to the score when playing though, I am too busy concentrating on shooting at anything that moves.

@reject: Red sneezed the decided atvantage of one player more. If the teams r even, to wich team ll come the next player?

Isnt it easier to win the game with this atvantage, reject?

Nobody of the skripters ever tried to build a mutator, with this funktions:
Teams even, score for red - player have to join blue.
Teams for red, score 4 blue - player have to join spec.
Teams for blue, score 4 blue - player have to join red (logic).
And so on.

@the topic:

We know there r very few games u can call a "GG"!
And if there is such a game and the score is 9:9, and one jump in directly, the blue guys knows, the next player ll come to red. They know also the map is lost.

What do this joiner?
3 points:
- He makes red happy, cause they know the map is won.
- He makes blue unhappy, cause they know b4 the round start, the map is lost
- He destroys the spirit of 18 rounds.

I often see score 10:9 and called bg, sometimes is exactly this one player the reason.

There is no solution 4 this topic!

U can not produce the few "GG", they r sometimes simply the result of. So, "Pw the server" or "Find a 2 on 2" r bad arguments.

Its the person /player himself to join as spec and safe maybe the spirit of a "GG" , or join the game and destroys it. (coolguy/egotrip)

There r many players who dont care about this (no names here) *ego trip*, and i would all give a permanently spec ban.

And there r many "old scool" players (no names here) *coolguy*, they hop in as spec and wait if they needed or balance hop in.

I know it aint nice to have a game messed up by unblanced teams
I myself alot more so nowadays just click spec so i can check teams and scores b4 i join a game.
But to me there are 2 major points here that are being missed.

1.You should all be happy that there still so many people whom wish to play on ut2k4.

2.It is at the end of the day just a game
Its ment to be played for enjoyment and to have fun.

To many times nowadays i see people shouting and swearing at each other within a game and i just sit back and think how stupid there making themselves look..

I play this game because of my love for it and for the company of the great people i have met at this site and on the TCP servers.

The day i stop enjoying the game will be the day i hang up my ut2k4 gloves.

So i say to all and anyone who wants to listen

Get bk to the enjoyment of the game and stop worring about things you cant control or change

LIFES TO SHORT TO BE UPSET YOU CAN BE UPSET WHEN YOUR DEAD.

Have fun and happy shooting all
