Hi!

Wow, I wouldn't have thought there are any friends of classical music around here. ;-)

I have a big classical collection and some of my absolute favourites are:

- The Planets (Gustav Holst)
- From the New World (Antonín Dvořák)
- Requiem (Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart)
- Symphony no. 40 in g minor (Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart)
- Symphony no. 5 (Ludwig van Beethoven)

... and many more!

Some nice pieces there indeed. I love the whole Requiem aswell!

I also listen alot to classical piano music, because I play the piano myself aswell.

Some pieces I play aswell are:
Bach - Air (Performed here by Friedrich Gulda on a Jazz improvisation concert :))
Mozart - Sonate KV332 (performed by Gulda aswell).
Goldberg Varations (Performed by Glenn Gould, awsome and genius pianist!, I only play the Aria and the first varation)
Beethoven - Pathetique (Performed by Glenn Gould aswell)
Chopin - "Raindrop" prelude (Performed by Horowitz, piece maybe better known by you gamers as the "Halo 3 ad song" :P)

Obviously I don't play as well as the masters above, but I try my best ;).

Some of my favorite bands/ artists:

Aquabats
Arrogant worms
Weird all yankovic

Hi!

Well, I listen to a lot more than just classic muskc, of course. I'm also very much into electronic synthesizer music, for example. Several metal bands or sinlge metal songs are on my fav list as well. I just can't stand most of the mainstream music, similar to what Kerm wrote. :-)
