Hi guys'n girls,

for a few months now I'm playing on your ONS server regularly (more or less), so I think it's about time to say hello to all.
For those wondering, who's behind that strange nick "laboRHEinz" you're fragging all the time, here some info:

I live in Hamburg, Germany, actually a great city, but the ping to your server could be better. I'm working at a wind turbine manufacturer, so if some of u need a cute windmill with 100m diameter in his garden or on the roof, just let me know
A year ago, some colleagues and I started playing UT2k4; we had our own little server but after a few months, more and more colleagues quitted, so I went online. Despite my short "career", I'm not quite a spring chicken anymore with my 34 years.
But when I see some top scorers of my age or older, I'm not totally without hope in getting my skills better by and by...

As all of you, I don't like the usual undesirable things like camping, idling, spawnkilling etc. For that and because you're very fair and kind gamers, I prefer your server. Would be nice if you don't kick me for doing some bullshit for which I blame lacking experience. I'm always doing my best not to be completely useless, hoping that some of u don't mind having a mid-skilled knob like me on his side. I enjoy playing with all of u and (most of) your guests.
You're doing a great job providing Europe's best ONS server!

Thanks for applying to join us, that is a good introduction post ... I will open a topic in the Members Section and the Clan will discuss whether to give you a tryout, and I will send you a private message with their decision in a few days (could be up to a week depending on how the discussion goes).

In general though we are moving towards a policy of recruiting by Member recommendation. This is because we now have a lot of members and players on tryout. We have to limit the size of the Clan because otherwise existing members may not get the chance to play in clan matches, and there is a danger that Members will feel ananymous in the crowd and we lose the feeling of comradeship if the Clan grows too big.

@Laborheinz: Hi man, I recognise you because of your funny name! I always said that you must be working in a laboratory and the name "Heniz" just stands for "guy" in the end. Nice that you're saying hello here. You're playing ok, even if you're camping, etc. It's just the idling that I don't like about players in my team, because it means that the active players (i.e. me) must do even better to win the match.
