No clue really, the advanced options should be visible and available if the option "Advanced properties" is checked, as seen in step 2....

I cannot really imagine that there are soundcards / drivers so bad that they wouldn't enable that feature, but then again.... who knows.... :-S

The advanced settings are also greyed out for me in the control panel settings. However you should be able to set all those options from the C-Media Mixer icon on the Windows taskbar (should've installed with the driver). You can check the manual and everything on the trust site :/
