I need a bit o' help - my UT2004.INI file is corrupted. I don't wanna re-install the game - could anyone be so kind and upload id to rapidshare or smth?

Thanks, but it seem that I still have to reinstall - I deleted old .INI, and when I tried to paste it it says "The file with that name already exists" and it's 0 kB in size lol. It asks me if i would like to overwrite. Yes, then - "Cannot move UT2004.INI - File with that name already exists. Enter another name of file.". lol

EDIT: Anyone can upload "SYSTEM" folder? Pleeeease

Hi!

Sounds like you have a problem with your filesystem structure. Maybe you should run checkdisk on your partition with the game on it.

How to do it? Open a command prompt (DOS box) and type the following:

chkdsk /f /r /v c:

In case the game isn't on your C: partition, replace the drive letter at the end of the line with the appropriate one.

The check will take some time, but it will correct any errors on your filesystem structure.

thx coco, i'll try - but last time I used chkdsk I had to reinstall whole system. If the reinstallation of UT won't give any results, i'll try.

If that fails u can just simply delete the ut2004.ini and restart the game
It will use the default settings then .. and then u can copy back the stuff u had in the ut2004.ini ( u made a backup off)
