Im in trouble
I had some problems with Unreal ED. Now I have solved it, but now I got probs with my map. I doesn't appear in maplist and when I load it by UED. He's doing it except that...nothing happens. It loads map but I got still empty space. Does any1 knows what to do? Im really feared that I have lost weeks of my work

I'm not a mapper but the first thing I would check for clues is the editor logfile (or the logwindow).

It sounds like you lost it, man. Sorry to say, but the way you describe it, it is gone. Send it to me, and I will take a peek.
You did, of coarse, save more than one copy. Something like after 2 minutes of work, savemap01, and then after another 2 min, of work, savemap02. I save my map, after every change. Now-a-days, hard drives are large, and if you save it in an extra folder, you can always back it up and delete it with no problems.
Lets get back to the editor. What problem did yo have and then fix? How can you load it if it is not there?
I will be glad to help, just send it, and if I do not get to it tonight, I will look tomorrow morning.

Unfortunaelly I deleted (accidentaly) all my autosaves, because I had too many of them already. About editor: It was just crashing during launching. Now its fine, but doesnt want to load. Maybe If I send it to u it will work? I believe it can work out, because after UED crashing I just reinstalled game so maybe thats the reason.
I never really built maps, but sometimes when I downlaoded a map (CTF map for instance) it wouldn't load and it wouldn't show in the maplist either.. The problem was with me, that I didn't have all the textures / meshes / sounds / music / whatever
I'm almost sure this doesn't help you, but it won't hurt mentioning anyway
Hope you can solve it!

Hi!
Yes, you're right, Aero. Maps with missing associated files don't show up in the maplist. You can always see which files are missing by taking a look into the log (System\UT2004.log). In case you get confused by all the messages in there, it might also help to rename your old log first, then start the game (and quit immediately after the menu shows up) and see the newly created log.
Coco.
