Can we transfer files through IRC ?
I just talked to Zsolt and it seems we'll have to borrow a server since ours is capped at 10 slots...shouldnt be a problem to find one though but I probably won't be able to tell you the ip in advance...
Dont forget to think about which maps you wanna play and let us know...

Hi Frankie!
Yes, we can exchange files via IRC. Nevertheless, I uploaded our picked map to my webspace. You'll find the download link below.
About the server: Did I understand it right that 10 players could play on your server, but not more? Maybe we should play a 5vs5 then. So far we just have 4 players for sure anyway. 4 more players are possible, but they couldn't tell if they'd be there. So }TCP{s player count would be 4-8.
Carnage, do you think it's possible to use our own server at 21:00 CET and interrupt the Freon madness (or end it a little earlier)? Just in case we don't have another server?
Now about your questions, Frankie:
If we play 3 maps with a winning score of 3, it's possible that we need to play 15 rounds (4 rounds in one map, all ending in overtime could lead to a result of 2:2, so a fifth round would be necessary).
Or would the winning score be 2? In that case a map could be ended after just 1 round. However, I would suggest we play 3 maps with a winning score of 3 and 10 minutes per round. Seems to be the best compromise between maximum duration and fairness (a team could lose a map very unlucky if the other team scores before overtime). Is that ok for you?
Besides that, we'd go with the ClanBase rules. We plan to join ClanBase soon, so getting familiar with the rules might be a good idea - even if it means a little disadvantage for our match tonight. We must learn it the hard way then.
So to make it clear: no super weapons, CB modified maps (as you have described above).
Concerning spectators, we decided to forego the spectator slots. Seems to be the easiest for all.
As for the maps, }TCP{'s pick would be: ONS-Storage_Facility][
Here's a download link: http://coco.srv47.de:8888/ONS-Storage_Facility][.7z
Our proposals for a tie-breaking map would be:
Severance, Primeval or Torlan.
So what's your choice?
Coco.

Well tbh would be too much work to make the tam into an ons server with all those rules and settings.
I will see if i can get that votable if needed but i doubt i can get it perfect for tonight.
As for changing the freon madness to the ons .. i am not at home this evening so that will be impossible :/

Only 10 people can play on our server. If it's 5v5 we can use it, that's no problem.
We have asked the ST2 clan if we could borrow their 6v6 server...they usually agree to that kind of requests but no answer so far so if we don't get any answer by the end of the afternoon, it will be 5v5 on our server.
Regarding the map rotation and timing I'm getting confused so I try to say it again.
I suggest we play with Clanbase settings/rules with one difference : we play 3 maps instead of 2 (in Clanbase there's no "tie breaking" map).
In Clanbase, each separate map works like this :
-We play the map two times, nothing less, nothing more.
-The map is restarted after each round (so there's no "first team to three points" rulesand so on)
-One round is 15 minutes then cores start draining
-A round victory before overtime = 2 points, after overtime = 1 point
-Important for you to know, in Clanbase, when cores start draining, they drain faster when nodes are activated/being built, even if they ain't 100% ready (when two teams have the same amount of nodes and fight for a middle node for example and cores start draining but no team can build it the middle fully...that way the team that has tried to build it most often has an advantage, you avoid some "random" victory decision by the computer which happen when both cores reach 0 at the same time ).
-At the end of the 6 rounds (3 maps * 2 rounds), we just see who has the most points.
Max points to be distributed between the two teams: 12
Minimum points (if all maps go to overtime) : 6
Its no real advantage for anyone to play with these rules, its just that they're existing so it's easier to agree on them ;d
Ok for you ?
Ok with no specs then.
Regarding the maps :
-Zsolt will upload storagefacility on our server. He said we leave it up to you if you want the deemer in it or not. If you get used to CB, you should try without the deemer but it's a fun one, so it's up to you...let me know what you prefer!
-Our map of choice is gonna be Maelmstrom NV...it's not part of the Clanbase list and we're a bit bored with the "classic" maps
-Tie Breaking map : Primeval...Zsolt told me the 5v5/6v6 version of it is the one with spiders...the non spider version, with raptors, lightning guns, etc is only for Clanbase 3v3....so lets prepare to jump around

Hi Frankie!
Alright, thanks for pointing this out. That's interesting, I never played a map without a winning score, that's why I didn't understand what you meant at first. So we're playing exactly 6 rounds with 15 minutes (and additional overtime). Also the draining mode of the cores is interesting. We totally agree to all of that.
Ok, so we'll likely play a 5vs5 on your server or maybe a 6vs6 on ST2's one (we would need the IP then). I think it would be better to use your server, because we wouldn't have StorageFacility][ otherwise, right? Since you didn't do it until now, I will send you a PM with a password suggestion for tonight, ok? I wanna be sure that our players know it in time.
Ok, so the maps to be played will be (in this order):
MaelstromNV, StorageFacility][ and Primeval.
We can play Storage without superweapons, no problem.
You can also find me on ICQ in case of further questions.
Coco.

Sounds like a plan...we will only play on ST2 if we manage to have them upload the maps we need, they're usually very friendly with that kind of requests, it's just we're not sure we can get in touch with them in time...we'll see what happens.
I don't have ICQ ;D
I will join your IRC server tonight before the match just in case there's last minutes questions (and I might be on Freon madness server too, depending on how late afternoon guests will stick around before I throw them out for real social killling activities)
