in AS defenders must camp they got a obj to defent

while camping on the atk side is 100% useless cause by camping you can't get any obj.

But even in AS camping is the worst form of defending- better is frontal attack IMO- bigger chance for preventing opponents from reaching objectives, especially the ones that are inside buildings. Standing still all time would'nt stop the attackers for long- in short time they'll learn how to avoid your shots

well if you know the maps rly good like i do and most AS players do
then you get to know spots that are realy great to camp from
(also indoors) where the atking team can't see you at all
and ofc some will avoid shots but isn't that in evry game type?

if you take in dm allways the same way the enemy does know that sooner or later 2

in as there are just way more spots to nicely camp from then any other gametype (dunno about dd, ctf, br)
and they get fully used by the defending team
@ atking if your good and fast enoufg you can also go to those spots and kill defenders from there whitch is prety evil


but indeed frontal atk does work great 2 but as defending camping aint that bad

Camping and all that other crap like spam don't exist.. if you can't handle it.. you're just weak..
Only thing I am against is spawnkilling since there is practically no defence against it..

Look at it this way.. a good player would know wich direction the camper is firing from, will also always be on the move and therefor not killed with 1 shot.. no easy hs..

Also the good player would have the same camper skills as the camper.. so when he has found location he can try to 1 shot the camper.. who usually moves on small piece of terrain..

Everybody whines.. and it's totally normal, this game can be unfair..
But it's called UNREAL tournament.. so besides spawnkilling there is really nothing wrong with a persons tactics..
Ofcourse.. in a team.. not caring about teams tasks.. results to the team losing.. The camper/spammer/roamer knows this.. so if doesn't want to lose..he'll help out .. if he doesn't care.. then he will die as much as he killls while camping..

Tank campers get alot of grief

The amount of time i have gone on demo server and camped the hills preventing anyone making any progress to the primary (btw i consider spawn killing as totally lame and dont do it) just to be called a "tank laming twat that should go die"

But iam stopping you taking the prime! just my team seems to be core shy for some reason, or this would be over my now :s

don't really have "too" much of a problem with it myself and campers are usually pretty easy to find and deal with on the ONS maps here, and will generally return to the same positions too.... tank campers would be easier to deal with with decent teamwork but it's not "impossible"......aaaand still think one of the most classic campers I yet seen is Jasmin, that guy comes up with some classically funny places to camp
