Easter just passed, anyone found any eggs?
What about Easter Eggs!.. you know, on a computer.. i run Xp pro and i found something wierd on the nett:
what ever location on your'e pc (xp) you cant create a folder named "con"
anyone else know somthing cool 2 try out?

Of course, trife.
You can't create a folder named 'con' under windows os, cause it's reserved by system. This whole thingi has to do with some compatibility by old MS-DOS ages. For real it's not necessary any more.
But for very, very old progs they have build in once again.
I think for the last time. Next windows os will say 'goodbye' for the 'good ol' ms-dos times' & 16-Bit applications.

Most of the older games and Programs may need the 'NTVDM', means the 'New-Technology-Virtual-DOS-Machine'
It's easy to control weather your game or program need the 'NTVDM' Surroundings.
Open your Task-Manager and have a looksie under 'Processes'. If you start the programm and you see the process 'NTVDM' appears under 'Processes', ya know it's time to say goodbye :byebye: WHEN ya switch to the OS after Vista. Merely no panic!
Nobody forces you to do that!
