Server Down!!!!

Hey everyone. I have noticed that the forum is not working in the morning, here. GMT+1 at 4:45 in the morning. I normally check the posts when I get up. But yesterday and today, I could not get in. It also effected the Homepage, but just the News section. Anyone got a clue?

Hi!

I had this some days ago already. At first, the delays between a click and the appearance of a forum page became longer and longer and then the forum wasn't reachable anymore. It lasted for half a day and was gone in the evening.

I am not 100% sure but i think there might be some problem with the mysql server from the host
This because all the stuff that does not use it works .. but the stuff that does is either realy realy slow or just does not connect at all

I will send them a mail asking what is going on

I mailed the host and they are aware of the problem and suspect one of the hd's is not working the way it should
they will be replacing it on monday.

Let's hope that fixes it

Yeah, I noticed it also this morning. I hope it gets fixed soon. That is my main time for reading the mails.

After todays fixes by the host the website / forum should be working fine again

That was also the reason the site was down for quite a while

Yes, that's true, Ramses. I felt the same... I'm happy that it's back again and hope it'll work fine now.

Carnage, do you have a backup of the database? Just for the case the forum ever gets hacked or the server hd crashes...

Yes, ceter of the clan, indeed. I was also a bit worried (I have no fingernails left...) that all was lost. But again, thanks Carnage for getting this back up and running.
