Well, it happens occasionally, but really not often to me. In case it happens, try to get killed by an enemy - everything should be normal again when you respawn. There are plenty of other bugs I experience from time to time:
- I spawn and can't move (become spectator and join again to fix it).
- My weapon keeps shooting alternate fire although I don't shoot at all (just press alternate fire once to end it).
- I spawn and can't use any weapons, that means I can neither shoot nor switch weapons (hold down alternate fire and switch weapons at the same time to get rid of this).

i know exactly what happens with yout UT.
You have a prob with your I-Net Connection!
Here it's a prob with your ISP (Internet Service Provider)
You have a chance, when you screw down your I-Net Speed.
For Example from DSL 6000 to 4000, or 3000 to 2000.
I had the same probs 1,5 year ago!
Sometimes i can't see my weapons, or can't shoot.
Maybe you must contact yout ISP and beg him:
- first checking your connection
- second srew down the speed.

Sometimes in TAM you cant fire at start up, but I'm not sure throw weapon helps. I think it happens if you change weapon at the start of the no-fire 321 countdown period, TAM sometimes gets confused.
I've had weapons not showing in players hands in ONS sometimes, after playing the map for a while. I guessed it was a memory leak problem or something like that.
