This me playing the demo of Crysis, Works ok at medium settings at 1024x768.

I dont get framefrops ingame, but somehow fraps manage made those framedrops/skips.... While recording i didnt notice much difference...oh well.

I guess this shows that you don't have much CPU power left when running this game. Fraps should have a lower priority than the game, so it just uses the remaining cycles to capture, compress and write the video. And in this case, it doesn't seem to get enough before the next frame has to be rendered.

Btw., you better shouldn't use commercial music in the videos you're uploading to Youtube. Personally, I don't mind at all, but there's a potential danger for trouble if you do it. In such cases, I like to use music from the demoscene and give credits to the author. Here's a good place to find some!
