Hi!
Well, in many cases, the ratings are not understandable at all. For example, on Monday I watched the movie Beowulf in the cinema and although the movie was great, it also was really brutal and quite explicit. And guess what? When we left the cinema, I noticed that the rating was for the age of 12 and above. I really couldn't believe it! Personally, I think it shouldn't be free below 18. On the other side they don't allow games like UT or Half Life below 18. Really strange...
Anyway, the movie was breathtaking. It's completely made with computer graphics, which partly are undistinguishable from real scenes. The weakest part are still the characters, especially their movement, but when the camera is close to a face, it's also hard to see that it's unreal. In case you're into medieval movies with swordfighting and magic, I can strongly recommend this one!

Yes it is on my list to see
. From what little I've heard they have Hollywoodised it by turning the hag into a sex symbol for example, but thats to be expected I guess ... shame but nm if the film is good to watch
The funniest example of this kind of thing was a tv mini series on Attila the Hun that I saw recently .... he was portrayed as an Adonis
when in reality the Huns deliberately disfigured their faces and heads to make them appear more fierce.

That may also be because movies are officially considered "Art" in Germany whereas computer games are not. This is different, for example, in France...}TCP{Coco wrote:Hi!
