Well parental guidance is there for a reason. If he has been told not to reveal his name and address to strangers over the internet, then that is damn good advice!

Unfortunately, shipping items only works with existing names and addresses, so get your parents on this forum and let them see my offer for themselves and decide.

However, the ordered copy seems to have gone lost on the way over the ocean, so now I have to look for another :-/

LOL, WOLF!!! If the parents have control of the "kid" then they will not allow unreal to be installed on his/her system. You have to think like a parent in things like this. :-/

I know this, you know this, and the whole playing world know this, but read the news about those idiots killing people in schools and then read the news the next day that it is all about 3D shooters. It makes me sick!!! Have you guys ever seen the news about the Beatles? (the group back in the 60's) There was this FAT polititian saying, "Why don't you guys get a hair cut?!?!" This is the same thing. Just because the older generation does not understand that MOST of us do not take these games serious. OK, PG13 if you like to. I still let my daughter play these games, and she is now a very bright, educated young (21) lady.

Of course Frank. Personally I give a rats ass about the ratings of a game, if I find it good, I play it, if not, I don't. Whether or not a game (or movie or whatever) is suited for a person, be it a kid or adult, doesn't depend on the rating but the person!

But, for those silly people all around the globe that do not know better, they just orient themselves on the ratings... what other factors could you (as a parent) base your judgement on if you do not know the game (or your own kid lol)?

I wonder what the people who set the ratings think about content in tv news programmes (they scare me

), or indeed about the newspapers that are often responsible for scare mongering and scape goating games in an effort to sell a few more rags/chip wrappings/"news"papers ?

Some form of guidance rating is good I guess if it helps, I just wonder how useful it is if a game like Unreal is considered to be harmful to anyone over say 10, it smacks a little of over-zealous political correctness.
