UTeam Fix 9b

Does the UTeam Fix 9b spawn-protect tool work only for team games? I downloaded it and SURPRISE I can't get it to work right LOL. I really stink at this puter stuff. I know it's a .u file and that goes in the system folder, correct? I also d/l UTeam Fix. Do I need both? Thanks!

Still can't get it to work. Went through read-me and did all it said. When I bring up advanced options it shows it as "fixed" and I can change my preferences as I wish but still does not work.
I also noticed that there are two different versions of LKickBan_CMDI, I used the most recent one (9b). What gives?

Yes u can change all u want ...
but u must be sure u start (or switch) the game in fixed mode otherwise u won't see a thing

Ok than...how do I start or switch the game in fixed mode lol!

Apperantly u didn't read the readme ....

III. Run
You can run this like all other game modes "out of the box" by selecting it
from the Unreal game menu. But note that it looks identical to "team game"
so press F1 to see if you have the "fixed" version running or the "normal"
(the fixed has an extra line indicating it is the fixed one in the header).

To run a dedicated server in batch mode, this would be your command line:
Unreal.exe <startmap>.unr?game=UTeamFix.TeamGameFix -server

(Fixed DM since release 8:
Unreal.exe <startmap>.unr?game=UTeamFix.DeathmatchGameFix -server)

Default admin password for this game type is "admin" (but usually the one of
your former game type will be taken), configuration is written into
"UTeamFix.ini" file.

Yep that pretty much sums it up

Lemme add that I don't recommend CLIENTS to have this in your system folder. I would suggest you ONLY put this on your SERVER, but not on the machine you play from.

If you were trying to change settings on the machine you play from, and then join a UTeamServer (which is not your own) and hope your settings take effect you're mistaken of course

Ok ok ok I finally got it to work. From the look of your Emoticon you were getting perturbed Carny hehe. When I started my game I never noticed that there were TWO choices for DM. I scrolled through and found both. Problem was that they both read identical. My bad!
I really do appreciate all your guys' help with this, you've been great. Must be a pain in the arse helping people who are beyond help!

Yup... I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I don't know if the game-beacon and game-name must be identical/different so that they show up correctly under gamespy... like... I didn't want UTeamFix servers to ONLY show up under "ALL".

Well I'm almost certain the 2 variables are independant...lol... I suck
