Trailer of TV movie Wiedźmin (The Witcher) played few years ago in Poland. It isn't too good but I like it .

Hi Marcin!

Funny, I saw that first movie (Wiedźmin) a few weeks ago - in Polish language with English subtitles, because the movie hasn't even been synced in English.

But still, I liked it. I just didn't like the hair of the Witcher too much.

Film is some strange mix of novels and saga. YOu better don't base ur knowledge on this movie. Wiedźmin books are great, espcially The Saga.

Game's reality is set after The Saga .

Well, I would read them if they were available in German. But they aren't. I'm not even sure if they are available in English.

Unfortunelly i think its the same bad situation in England as in Germany. Yet only 1 novel (which is isn't even part of Saga) has been transalted "The Last Wish". Saga was translated only to Russian and Czech. But there is good new for you, because I have read that first tom of Saga "The elves' blood" is going to be translated, but I dunno yet when .
