Well, I would use it if there wouldn't be the need to install the DivX Web Player to view the contents. I just tried to install it, but the user has to accept a personal license agreement that contains (among other stuff) the following:
Log File Information: Our servers automatically record certain information that your web browser sends whenever you visit the Site. These server logs may include information such as your web request, Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser type, platform type, click rates, pages viewed and the order in which those pages were viewed, the amount of time spent on particular pages, the date and time of your web request, and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser.
Sorry, but this is totally unacceptable for me, so I won't view these vids. :(

Somehow I fail to find all that :P
It shows me some EULA thing, but theres no mention of what you posted :/
It only mentions banners, which arent there and that it checks for newer versions. Thats all :O

Well that Monty Python sketch wasn't too funny. I don't see anything funny in stupid behaviour and wasting items around :P. I prefer a bit more inteligent humor.

That's because you have to accept two agreements: The License Agreement and the Privacy Policy. The latter comes up after you accept the License Agreement and click Next (you can still abort after that).

In case you want to check it out again, you can find the current version here:
http://download.divx.com/webplayer/stag ... taller.exe

If you still can't find it, just check out the (general) Privacy Policy on their website:
http://www.divx.com/legal/privacy.php
It's a slightly different text with basically the same content.

@Marcin.
I would never expect you to understand.
It was for people who are older and wiser than yourself.
Apart of the joke was making fun of myself, which Rams pointed out.

The beauty of python is that peeps relate to one of their many sketches.
Their humor is universal.

You MBB think it is funny to swear at peeps in Polish on the ONS server.:/
Need I say any more.

Odd..I didnt download the player directly. Instead I clicked on that "missing plugin" thing and it dlded and installed it, while only showing the terms I mentioned. There was no privacy policy at all :P

Hmm, I also didn't download it directly (I just extracted the link I provided to make it downloadable from the forum). Instead, I also used the "Install Missing Plugin" link that pops up if you open the page to play the video when no plugin is installed. But this link loads exactly the executable I'm talking about. How could you miss it then? You're also using Windows, right? What browser do you use?

To be sure we're talking about the same thing, I'll append a picture of the requester.

Yeah, I'm using Firefox and Windows and it surely doesnt look like that :P
Instead I get that normal puzzle tile icon saying "missing plugin" and click on it, it tells me "searching for plugin", finds divxwebplayer and installs it :l

There, thats the complete installation process :P

No its not funny. I don't like some damn fools who are acting like angry monkeys so I tried to "motivated" them to good behaviour and for that they started to swear. So its not my fault.

BTW: Infact I like MonthyPython but I just didn't like this sketch. They have much better ones.

Ah, ok, thanks for the screenies. I'm using Opera and it has no plugin manager. The question now is: Does the Firefox plugin as well record the personal information?
