Avatar forum upload problems :!:

I have been told that there where some problems with getting an avatar uploaded to the forum.

I did a little checking and indeed it does not seem to accept any file being uploaded.

i could not find a real fix for the problem .. so here is a workaround for it

Either use the "Upload Avatar from URL" option
Or use the "Link off site avatar"

The first one is prety straight forward and u just copy the url of where the picture is and it will be uploaded to the forum .

The other one u can do in 2 way ..

1 is just upload it to your own webspace and then enter the link to your avatar there .

Or if u do not have any webspace u can also attatch it into the forum .. in the spam section perhaps under a topic named Avatar or such and then just copy the url of the picture in your post in the off site linking .. this will work just fine .. just be sure u don't delete your post or the pic will be gone again .

Some examples here below :

if u click on the properties of my drinking cat on the bottom here u will see this : http://www.tcpclan.net/phpforum/files/aaaah_122.gif

that is then the url u need to enter in the link off site avatar..
