Hi!
I also voted "yes"... sorry, Kobra.
I have experienced this myself a few times. On the TAM server, some players started talking Dutch and I didn't understand anything for several minutes. The same would surely happen if I talked German to some other guys. Almost every player can at least understand English, so it's the perfect base to communicate on an international server.
But still, I'd be happy if talking in the native language was allowed when only people who are can speak it are in the game (or on TS) and they all fall back to English if someone enters who doesn't understand it.
Coco.

Hi!
Coco.
Here's a screenie:
Well, under Windows, you can simply use the Character Map to choose and copy it from. You'll find it under "Start - Programs - Accessories - System Tools - Character Map". This works for any other exotic character as well.}TCP{Ghost wrote:I don't have the trema thing on keyboard, it somehow doesn't work that is why I left it out on the 'a'

That is probably because keyboard layouts are country-dependent. Windoze usually displays the current layout usage in the lower right corner of the task bar with 2 big letters like "DE" for Germany, "EN" for (American) English etc...
So, let's say you have an English keyboard, but tell Windoze to use the "DE" layout, pressing your ":" key will result in "ö". Naturally, you will not find those "Umlauts" on an original US keyboard because English people normally have no useful application for such letters, and you cannot produce these letters with any normal combinations of keys - at least as far as I know you can't - unless you change the layout to the country whose localized special letters you wish to use.

Control panel, language settings (land instellingen) and put them both to dutch, or the first one to United States international and the second one to Dutch if that doesn't work.}TCP{Ghost wrote:I see, do you have any idea why it's not possible through normal codes?
The alt codes do not work either.
My keyboard is quite new and my older one had them so I assume this one should be able to aswell.
