Text time edit your post instead of doing a double on..it might not be your fault..the forum acts strange sometimes:(

I do think u are putting some players in the wrong section

But it doesn't really bother me who is better than who...we all know taz is best..and i think we all agree on that too.

And trainees count too you know *points to self*

Hi Marcin!

If you count me to the second group, I must request you to restrict this to Onslaught (and even there, I'm not really sure about it). At TAM, I'm at the lower average end at the most. :-|

Coco.

I just don't like the word "noob" because I don't know what it is, I have no definition. Can anyone please give me a definition of "noob"?

What I mean is that there is no definition that covers every use of the word. It is a word just like "Web 2.0". You cannot define it and so you shouldn't use it.

Um like Pingking said, it just means new to the game, not skilled, redneck, wet behind the ears etc and is generally used as a low level insult I thought ? Why cant u define it ?

You gave me list of some examples. That's not a definition.
For example there are also skilled players who are considered to be "noobs" which disagrees with "noobs are not skilled"

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noob#Noobs ... net_gaming

A list. A list of examples, what the word could mean. Not a definition.
The word "noob" refers to so many different cases that it is nearly impossible to find one definition that works always and covers all cases.

I'm a Wikipedian. I contributing to the german and english Wikipedia by improving or writing articles (or whatever is needed), and I don't do it because I love the subject, but because people want to read about it. And I believe that information and knowledge must be free (both free as in freedom and free as in beer); freedom of information is important for a democracy. By writing articles or improving those free projects you help society and democracy. That's my motivation and not some boring stuff about noobs...

Edit: If you want to be part of something that changes the world, I think helping Wikipedia is a good way...
