well i cant remember much about grandia 1 but if u dont know get up a load of levels at the field just outsider the town u start in.....the key to the cafe is right beside the cafe almost falling off the top of the river bank......if u get mana eggs, save them up untill the end when u get ur final charecters......in the desert later on in the game, like 2nd disk, there is another exit which takes u to the castle of illusion, which has a very hard boss in it, but if u get thru it u get justin's final sword......ur in for about 20 hours worth of play btw
also if u havent already done so, go out and buy ff7, weather u like it or not
also, whatch out for this bit near the second disk....if u know what the term 'fanny' means in english then it will so hilareous....its in a volcano because justin and feena get catapulted in after they get married, and when they land feena goes 'ow i hurt my fanny' which was really funny here.
o dear cee, i think ur in at the deep end there....gradia 1 is twice as hard as that battle with melfis or whatever hes called in grandia 2 (u know the 1 where they are on that mountain) and that was pretty tough in comparison to the rest of the game....also the boss battle i mentioned earlier in castle of illusion is a right bitch...took me 20 attempts
Yeah, ff7 was great..Though that midi music was...uncool..
I stopped playing FF8 after like 15 mins, since I hate it, when you have to configure shit like magic and all just to use it.. I wanna play a game and not spend more time in the inventory screen than in the actual game >:/
"Acquired" ff9 some days ago and am hoping that my emulator wont disappoint me
Dunno ffx or ff11 or ffx-2, since I'm too poor (btw I still accept donations, even from non tcp ppl ... . .. .. ... . ..) to afford a ps2 ;_;
And I never need many attempts in rpgs to finish them (at least not in the Japanese ones)
ff1&2 i only just gto so i dont know much about them
ff4 was kinda crap, cause it was too hard and the main charecter was called ceci and u had to pay the namingway 1000 gil to change it
the best on ps1 was ff5 becuase it had the job system which they are bringing into ff12 in the form of different dresses (yes, dresses...)
ff6 was good, but it was too long and by the end u were on ur own and going about another world trying to find ur conpanions, thast s far as i got...
final fantsy 7......graphically better than ff5 and longer, it was the most played and was the ps1's 3rd highest selling game (next to tomb raider and and he ultimate ps1 game that Was 'Metal Gear Solid') the meteria system was the best magic system yet, and is rumored to feature in the next patch for final fantasy online (ff11)
ff8 was too complicated fopr most gamers, but the best ff on the ps1 for dungeons and dragons games players...i didnt play it much, so what the hay...
ff9 was the only new ps1 fantasy to get 9/10 in official ps1 mag (with all the others getting 10/10) they said this was down to the fact that it was basically ff8 using the ff7 engine with a new storyline...
ff10 was the new ps2 final fantasy....too short, but loads of secrets....by too short i meen that the main game was too short, but at the moment ive still not done all the extras...the best graphically, of coarse, and is the only final fantasy to feature a true sequal, which is...
ff10-2. or FFX-2 rather, is the newly released 1 in the far east....which would be great if i could read japanees, but, err, the story continues off there final fantsy 10 left off...dont know much about it....
although this is pretty unknown my people, if u look at the start of ff10 while its loading, it talks about the ff10 project, t was revealled that there would actually be 3 ff10s all set in the same place, and the same time zone. meaning 5that there is going to be a FFX-3 as well...
final fantasy online is the hardest to awnser for, as i havent heard much about it...the best way to find out about it is to visit a few websites, i actually know quite a bit about it but it would take too long to type....
