Yes Far Cry is a shooter set on a present day tropical island where you fight your way through against mercenaries. Its a real adventure in the original Unreal style, and has vehicles, boats and hang gliders

. Its several years old now so it should be cheap but the graphics still impress me (they rivalled Half Life 2 I believe), its like taking a holiday in the sun

I have played Doom 3, so am now waiting on Doom 4, and I have not played Quake 3 yet and want to keep it in order. I was hoping someone would catch that.

OK .What I am hearing is that Microsoft are trying to make UT2K7
a X360 only title.
Gear of war is an EPIC game that uses the UT3 engine and that is very impressive on the X360.This game has made Bunge put back HALO3
so they can increase the graphics to compete.

Even if you went out next month and bought the latest pc hardware,you will still have problems running UT2K7 at its highest details.
PC's just dont have the bandwidth.

All lastest graphic cards,regardless on how much merory.(256mb,512mb,
1024mb) Only have a 256bit memory controller.
The X360 has a 1024bit memory controllers.

From experience,the min spec required for a pc game should be doubled
just to be able to play the pc game on the lowest detail.

Im not planning to buy a xbox360. I have a xbox but im lately more focussing on computer getting more games on the comp and stuff like that

And another reason as Slaphead mentioned the Halo serie.
I got 1 and 2 an im planning on the 3rd but that isnt going to come on xbox but vista and xbox360. I just hope that I can play the UT2007 in the lowest detail and furter on the technoligy will improve so

I just buy the best hardware I can get.

UT2007 only on xbox? I can only say one thing if this is true:

Fuck Microsoft with their XBox crap. If this is what is to be expected, count me out forgood! Not everyone likes to sit behind a tv screen using some controller and I am definately one of them.

Consoles are for children.

i dont think that UT2k7 will only be available on consoles, but dont forget that there are 2 UT games only for consoles -> Unreal Tournament Championship 1+2

Xbox live is the same as internet connection you have to buy a xbox live sort of modem and a montly bill. On top of that you have to connect youre xbox with a computer or internet. Xbox 360 had his own internet connection but its more expensive.
