I don't think the server is rented. But as for the onslaught server, I would have to say you have a point there. It costs Carnage and me a lot of money and most of us aren't even playing there. I don't mind sharing the costs but at least I'd like to have a good time for my money and it seems like I'm only playing TAM these days.
But it depends on how populated it is before i decide if i keep it or not
I saw that when I visited the provider's page. I will leave it up to you whether you want to keep the onslaught server online. And I will keep supporting it financially as long as it is. Alternatively I could rent another DM server. Then we would have both a TAM and a TDM server.
To be honest I really don't play that much onslaught anymore. Seems like a waste of money.
I know you guys are forking out allot of money for these things, but I also know that ONS is a big hit. I just sent a small amount to Car to see if this is going to work over post. I do not like sending $ over the mail, but I do not have a credit card and you need it for Pay Pal. Cat I can do the same for you if it is needed. I am not rich but I can help every now and then.
I have a paypal account and no credit card. I think Paypal WANTS you to have a credit card, but many non-US citizens do not own one, so they are forced to allow simple bank account owners.
You can send money easily after you have put some money into it from your bank account. I do not know when you get the "certified" status, but it makes no difference for your ability to send money to someone.

I believe you get "certified" when you register with a bank account. I'm not sure if using a credit card allows you to be certified.
