be quit little man, you dont have any experience in mapping so go back to ur kindergarden :O
the thing is that frank build the map all his self, but the new conversion style exacly copies the maps :p
also the textures are not all the same, the boxes are also not exacly at the same places :O

But is there really a different feel to it? I think that the feel of it is just about the same, but if it anoys anyone and is not playable, then it should be rebuilt like the others.

Thank you Taz. That was nice of ya. :-) But maybe there is something to improve. The name should be }TCP{Sinfonia. And maybe we should take out the Hall Of Fame. Was a nice idea, but I am not sure if it helps Game Play.

The Sinfonia map is a regular favourite on our servers DAFrank, it's played every night which speaks for itself I think.

I'd keep the Hall of Fame, it isnt used in gameplay, but I for one like to show it off to players who haven't seen it (no babboons there :P) :D .

ok, maybe someone got me wrong here.. the way frank made this made is he build the map all by his self and you cant do it much better if you rebuild it like that.
but the way we know now how to convert U1 maps to UT2k4 is way more better, its an 1:1 copy :)

Yes kobra i know what u mean, franks sinf isnt an exact copy in the same way as obs and mojo are :) There is prolly room for an exact copy in addition to Franks map, but personally I would prioritise other maps like the Fusion maps before doing sinf v2 exact, as Franks is very close.

Thanks guys for the "pat on the back". I understand what Kob is talking about, but like the rest say, if it is OK to play....

I have only one problem with the "copy and paste" method. If you want to make changes to the walls, it is not possible this way. Or can you subtract from this type of brush? I have never tried, but it looks as if you might not get a "monsterMash" observatory, without creating the whole level again.

Anyways thanks again for the comments on Sinf. Krabbelricher and I were playing it last night. It was fun. :-)

I'm going to try to make cold ruins an exact copy on a 1 to 1.5 scale. Only thing I'd like to change is the original's boring lighting.

Well I've already been working on it for a few days (it's quite large!!) but I'm not going to make a one on one copy. The general layout is fine but there are just too many other aspects that need fixing. To name a few. The map is called cold ruins but there is nothing ruined. It all looks brand new. Strange.

There are lights hanging from the ceiling that don't burn. Did they even have electrical lights in the midieval era? And so on. Furthermore it's supposed to be a castle but the layout has nothing to do with a castle. I mean have you ever seen a castle like that??? Neither have I. So here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to keep the general map layout but it's going to look more like an old castle. Winter nights here I come :)
