Unreal Wiki for }TCP{

Heya

All those tactics make me think of having a wiki for TCPs.

It would be really better for Tactics because everyone can work on it and correct mistakes and so on.

So here are little poll:

1. Should we have a wiki?
[ ] Yes
[ ] Nop

2. Should it be a public or private (=only TCPs) wiki?
[ ] The enemy shall not read our tactics, make it private.
[ ] It will grow more when non-TCPs are allowed to contribute articles.

my $0.02 here: I think tactics are something private. Perhaps we could have a public and a private area of the wiki?

3. Which Wiki should we have:
[ ] Media Wiki (that's what Wikipedia uses I think)
[ ] Any other Wiki I will post here

4. Answer this question honestly. Would you contribute articles to the Wiki?
[ ] Yes
[ ] I'll try
[ ] Don't know yet
[ ] No

5. Answer this question honestly. Would you check what others did, do some (style) correction and do admin stuff?

You're talking about a Wiki for tactics, a subforum that had 7 threads in 2 yrs ?
I dont really see what we could possible write about here :/

Yeah, indeed.

A wiki would really be better, because anyone can edit it and improve it. I don't want a better wiki, than Wikipedia, don't worry

Writing tactics here is difficult, because you can't always do many changes... you have to post the final tactic guide once and that's more difficult than have a short article and improve it step-by-step.

It was just an idea.

Might be a good idea if the other smarts are up for it.
Personally I wouldnt know what to contribute as my only goal in ONS is to reach a vehicle and run somebody over..or die in the process

You could also use a doc or pdf file and store it somewhere, where ppl could freely up- and download it to change it accordingly.. Could be less work than creating some whole database :O

The guides you have done are interesting and very well thought out and written. However, I'm of the Cee school of ONS tactics and I've no idea what a wiki is (other than its some database for storing info I guess), so I wouldn't be any help soz.
