My reply is late! But it's here.
1. Diablo II is pretty awesome, but it gets boring pretty fast. Only a few classes to choose from, which doesn't suit someone that is used to playing games with races, classes, and sub-classes to choose from.
2. Diablo II is very full of cheats. On a LAN game or an Open Bnet game, it's insane. People can edit their characters stats, levels, res...everything, and they can even make their own items. Regular Battle.net games are actually pretty secure, but there are still hacks that can duplicate items, uncover the whole map, and force other players to drop items.

eek, sorry wolf, didn't mean to type something inapropriate! Btw, if any of you ever see a file on your computer called 'Backup.reg' and it's 2 years old, DON'T execute it *shiver*
