I got a message from skarijscout indicating that he was still interested in joining ... he doesnt speak in game because he's busy fragging ... fair enough

Anyway I asked him to wear a }TCP.tr{ tag and said we'd vote in two or three weeks time if he does

yes, i managed the tcp.tr tag to my Player Name. I must fix the user.ini, or ut2004.inf file, because my Player Name is to long and ut2004 doesn't support names longer then 14 signs.

Maybe you see => }TCP.tr{skarij <= or somethink like.
So it's me!!!

My idea with blinking LED on my Virtual head, i can't realize for this short time

I have the same problem so I wrote my nick with }TCP{ tag by user.ini.

The name-shortcutting is only a display-issue. If your name is "too long", ut2k4 still KNOWS the full name, it may just not be shown. You can try telling your HUD/Scoreboard to use a smaller font size...
