To your post: Huh... Eagle Eye is really hard to make. Reason? You must have a helluva accuracy or your enemy is just slow poke.

I think if you get an eagle eye, that does not show that you are good, but the opponent can't fly.}TCP{Kobra wrote:eagly eye shots arent that hard °_o
with the right mix of movement and mouse aim i can hit 4 of 10 raptors, as far as they dont flying right above my head ^^
If you are in a Raptor and you see a Goliath you do 2 things:
1. You fly over the Goliath
2. You move (you always should move in a raptor, no matter if there is a Goliath or not. Shooting you will be much more difficult)
If you do so, it's nearly impossible to shoot you from the tank.

All the flying things in UT2004 are totally crap. The Manta turns like an eighteen wheeler. The Encillada is a flying brick and the raptor reacts in slow motion.
The hellbender on the other hand, using the twin beam laser is a perfect weapon. Use it to snipe and you'll have no trouble at all blasting all of these flying circuses out of the sky.

you cant always see all tanks around the map when you fly in a raptor lolthe_kay wrote:I think if you get an eagle eye, that does not show that you are good, but the opponent can't fly.}TCP{Kobra wrote:eagly eye shots arent that hard °_o

as far as you see a tank you should fly above his head, at least that is what a skilled player should do yes.
but there are many other things you have to count in, there could be for example another raptor of the enemy team who is hunting you aswell or AVRIL rockets aiming for you this things make it more difficult to fly above the tank, and thats why i get 4 of 10 raptors becouse they are busy with other players or see me too late

Yeah, but just for close combat, for long distances the third one is better

Well, I think a Raptor sees a Tank before a Tank sees the Raptor, simply because the Raptor is a fast vehicle and the person in it expects seeing enemys and the person in the Tank might be miles away from enemy spawning points and don't expect enemy fire. Looking around with a Goliath is always dangerous (because he turns slow) and just when you finished your look around, another Goliath / enemy is firing you and your gun is in the wrong direction... A Raptor has always a wounderful view from above...
And if I am sitting in a Raptor and there are some guys shooting with AVRiLs at me and another guy waiting to kill me with his Goliath, I try to escape
