Yeah it hit me also, but in game you notice nothing. Hmmmm I wonder what Cat was thinnking of as he drew his diagram? Sub-mind control? :shock:

But it does look kinda like a swastika. Not intentional though. In any case, if it is one than the swastika is finally good for something :)

I need input. I am working on it now, and will try to get osmething done tonight. I would like to have it done by the weekend so that you can actually put your buildings and stuff in. You are still with me on this right-?

Right. I'm still learning the basics of 3D studio max tho so it will take some time before I can actually put in the structures I have in mind.

OK, Great, Time is also what I need. So no rush. I was kind of rushing this because I thought you wanted it done, like yesterday. OK. I did some more last night and got it looking like the map. I made the mountains in the devideing part alitle higher. Still working on it. :lol:

OK...SO I get a little carried away sometimes when I design...and drink tooooooo much. I got Cat's level to a certain point last night, and I thought I had posted it.... :roll:

I can't find it now. Err... did I dream it or did some one see it?

OK I finally woke up, thanks Car. I now have the level splitt in two parts.


I need help from a few of you that are interested in this. I have finnished the terrain and the Hover craft shooters.

There is no deco yet. Befor I put deco in, I want to hear what you guys say about the terrain. There are a few spots that I do not like, and I am sure you will find more. The power cores and nodes are not covered or finished yet, because I do not know how the terrain will look like. The cores will have to have a building around them, because you would be able to snipe from above, on the hill behind each.

Remember, this is BETA-BETA.

Allrighty i did a little testing with Wish and we found some strange things

Mostly being the bridges .. it seems u can not land on them using either a Manta or Raptor they will just fall thrue the bridge (both of them) and any other driving vehicle will just roll over em like they should (Tank . Scorpion)

So that is definatly something to look at :)

Also i personaly found the fog to be a little to dense u can't realy see enough
a little more view would do better i think ..

As for the terrain layout / looks i must say i like it :D

OK, Thx. I kknew about the bridges, but had forgot to set up the collision. I will change that and the fog tonight. Yes you did help allot. After looking at a certain map for so long, you lose the oversight, and do not really know what is missing or what really looks good. Thanks again. Frank

I brought this old post up again, because I have been thinking about this map allot. I made this for an old friend and TCP member back in 2006. He left shortly after I made it, and it never got finished, or posted.

Take a look, and see if you like it. It is devided into 2 parts, because it was too large to post as 1.
