Onslaught 32 man server TEST

I asked the server host if it would be ok to try the server on 32 players for a night to see how it runs.

This for the future plans to make it a 32 player server

I got a mail back that it would be fine to try it this WHOLE weekend !!

So from tonight the server will be a 32 slot server

So if u have some time do try and pop in so we can get the server filled up and see how it runs (don't think the filling up will be a problem though)

Because the server people are also curious to know how it will behave under such stress .. and in the event of the server not being able to handle it they will move us to an even faster server when we decide (get some more members to donate) to change to a 32 player permanently.

I don't know, I guess it would be ok with 32. I just keep thinking of 15 players standing around 1 node and I get nervous.

Is that including the 4 spectators? So 28 players and 4 Specs?

Well basicly that would be 32 + specs

And it would be aprox 20 euro's per month more then now zz and i both pay 20 too so that would be 60ísh total.

But anyways after the short but clarifying test it was quite obvious the server doesn't have what it takes to run a 32 man server properly ..
so it's back to 20 now

Shame but good we found out now before actualy renting one

I'm gonna send the guys at the host a mail and telling em what the problem is .. and hopefuly they will have a solution ( wich i'm sure they have).
